This last series of studies concludes our quick overview of the history of Western tradition. To be more precise, the third volume deals with the rapid decline and disappearance of Tradition in modern and contemporary Europe. In this manner we gave to our Indian and European readers a rather comprehensive view on Western degeneration, now spread on the whole planet, and we think that we have provided sufficient tools to understand the root causes. The emerging overall picture is truly bleak, and it looks quite impossible that the part of humanity still dominating and acting as a model could re-establish a dharmic civilisation. Under these circumstances the change should be really profound and radical. With good reason Some traditions, are expecting a forthcoming ‘end of the world’ which will, actually be the end of their own brief historical cicle. In fact, unlike the eternal Dharma the signs of their transience were present since their beginning. This ‘end of the world’ will be the end of their world and of the current mentality that they did not reject, but that on the contrary completely embraced.
